We are seeking two individuals to provide exceptional service to our members.
Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
Training will take place in the Rome office for approximately 2 months before being permanently assigned to Summerville.
Starting salary will be based on experience.
Responsibilities Responsible for the overall operation of the branch in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the credit union to insure the highest level of member satisfaction.
Responsible for assisting members with their consumer lending needs; analyzes loan requests and makes credit decisions within granted lending authority and based on established credit union underwriting standards, procedures, and regulations.
Underwrites consumer loans by interviewing applicants, reviewing credit reports, application data and collateral, if applicable, to approve, counteroffer or deny loan requests.
Regularly communicates by telephone, email or in-person with members, automobile dealers and others to expedite the loan application process.
Responsible for meeting production and performance standards as well as delivering the highest level of member service.
Cross-sells additional credit union and ancillary products to meet member needs.
Maintains a positive attitude and conducts business in a professional manner.
Assures that all members, employees, and visitors are treated with consideration and respect.
Implement new loan products and services in accordance with management direction Cross-sell lending and other credit union products Open new accounts, process transactions Identify members, validate and cash checks Accept cash and checks for deposit and check accuracy of deposit slip Process cash withdrawals Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier's checks Perform services for members such as ordering debit cards and checks Receive, verify, and post loan payments Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with credit union policies and procedures Assist in other areas of the credit union as needed Qualifications High School diploma required; Undergraduate degree in a business-related field preferred Previous experience not required; 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Bondable Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including phone skills, in order to interact professionally and effectively with members and employees Must be able to work under limited supervision Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality Exceptional organizational and time management skills; Detail-oriented Demonstrated/verifiable ability to maintain high standards in areas of accuracy, thoroughness, completeness and neatness of documentation, data entry, and correspondence Demonstrated/verifiable ability to work effectively as a member of a team; Ability to provide exceptional service to credit union members, employees, and management Demonstrated/verifiable ability to work independently and exercise initiative and judgment to make sound business decisions with little to no direct supervision Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
